OKUNO Shuji

Born in Osaka Prefecture. Journalist and nonfiction writer. 2006 winner of the Kodansha Nonfiction Award and the Souichi Oya Nonfiction Award for “Natsuko: Queen of Okinawa Smuggling”. He has also written numerous other books. He promotes the “Tida Kids Project,” which invites children affected by the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami to stay with host families in Okinawa.
