MATAYOSHI Eiki

Born in Okinawa in 1947. While working at the Urasoe City Library, he won the Subaru Literary Award in 1980 for “Ginnem Yashiki” and the 114th Akutagawa Award in 1996 for “Hog’s Reward. Author of “Pig’s Reward,” “Kaho wa Umi kara,” “Nami no Ue no Maria,” “Umi no Madoromi” and many others.
