MEDORUMA Shun

Born in 1960, in Nakijin village, Okinawa prefecture. Was awarded the 117th Akutagawa Prize in 1997 for his work, Droplets, while working as a language arts teacher in a prefectural high school. Produces works on the nature, climate and history of Okinawa.
