FUKAISHI Takashi

Born in 1948, in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Moved to Ishigaki Island in 1977. Author of “Okinawa no Hotaru” (Fireflies of Okinawa) (Okinawa Publishing Co., Ltd., winner of the 45th Sankei Children’s Book Award), “Yaeyama Nature Life: Life and Creatures in Sima” (Border-Ink Co., Ltd.), and others.
